Melt-Blown Filter(MB Filter)


We have the technology to produce MB filter, and also the production facility for it. 


Melt-Blown Filter(MB Filter) is a non-woven fabric filter made using the manufacturing method, that melts thermoplastic polymers, such as polypropylene(PP), and extrudes them through the nozzle. It is a widely used material for industrial and medical purposes and is a key raw material that is used as an internal filter for medical and health masks including the KF mask that is distributed in the market.


Technology, The method of ejecting molten polypropylene through a micro-sized perforated nozzle during this process is called Melt-Blown, and the extracted thread-like polypropylene is transported through the conveyor belt and pressed between two rollers to form the non-woven fabric. 


Melt-Blown filters form a web-like structure by intertwining microfibers with diameters of less than 10 μm. As a result, fibrous tissue is randomly entangled and piled up, making it structurally difficult for micro-substances to pass through. If static electricity is applied during the post-process, it becomes an electrostatic filter that can catch particulate matters.
